I am devoted to guiding individuals and small businesses through legal matters while aiming to make the most efficient use of your valuable time and resources. I have successfully negotiated and resolved more than 2,500 legal matters on behalf of my clients — many before litigation and/or through mediation. Thanks to this record of success, my peers have rated me an AV® Preeminent attorney, which reflects the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards according to the widely respected legal directory Martindale-Hubbell.

If you need a contract drafted or reviewed, I can help you identify and articulate your priorities in order to reflect your interests in the final document.

For individuals and businesses contemplating a real estate transaction, I provide comprehensive guidance for both buyers and sellers, and I can help you anticipate potential disagreements in order to avoid legal disputes in the future.

A major focus of my legal practice is helping my clients avoid or navigate legal disputes without the significant time and expense of traditional litigation. Through alternative dispute resolution offerings including mediation, I can help you resolve disputes through negotiation rather than in the courtroom.

In addition to my legal work, I serve my community by sitting on the boards of WISEPlace and the Mariposa Center, and I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
